why now

Search shows an answer, not a list.

Whether a page gets used depends on whether a machine can tell what it is for. Probeo measures AI Overview suppression per page, with a confidence level, rather than guessing at it. The measure is still marked experimental.

8% vs 15%

When Google shows an AI summary, people click a result link in 8% of visits, against 15% without one.

what you see

What every page is doing.

  1. 1

    What this page is

A pricing page, for a YMYL product: money decisions, held to a higher standard.

  2. 2

    The question it answers

How much does payroll software cost for a small team?

  3. 3

    Title and H1

Only partly agree. The title promises pricing for small teams; the H1 names the product.

  4. 4

    Claim flagged

"Every plan includes tax filing in all 50 states." Overbroad: filing support varies by plan and by state.

  5. 5

    Page quality

Low+. Pricing is stated without the conditions that change it.

what it reads

Nine things about every page.

What it is for

Page archetype

Whether the page is a guide, a service page, a tool, a hub or a policy page, and judged as that.

Page intent

The question the page answers. Answering more than one at once is why a page ranks for nothing.

Funnel position

Where the page sits in the journey, from a reader's first question to the point they decide.

Whether it still does it

Role drift

Whether the page has moved away from what it was built to do, one reasonable edit at a time.

Canonical identity

Whether the URL, the title and the H1 agree on what the page is. If they disagree, so does Google.

Question similarity

Pages across the site that answer the same question, and split the authority they would have alone.

Whether it holds up

Page quality

Graded against Google's quality rater guidelines, with the reason written next to every grade.

Factual claims

Statements that are wrong, overbroad or misleading, flagged on the page with what makes them so.

Brand voice

How closely the page matches your brand's voice, and where it has drifted away from it.

every finding

Every grade comes with the sentence that caused it.

Page quality

Low

The page has a beneficial purpose, substantial organized content, transparent plan pricing, and aligned sign-up CTAs. Because it is clear YMYL content and the accuracy assessment is low due to overbroad or insufficiently qualified pricing and tax claims, the YMYL accuracy gate limits the rating to Low.

A page capped at Low for accuracy shows you the claim that capped it, and where on the page it sits, so whoever picks it up knows what to change without reading the page twice.

Some findings only exist because two readings sit side by side. A page written for someone starting their first business can measure at a college reading level. Neither number is wrong alone.

how probeo is different

Know whether a page is any good, not just whether it has the keywords.

The content tools you may already own, against the nine things Content Intelligence reads on every page. Most of what they call quality is keyword coverage. Every mark comes from the vendor’s own documentation.

the difference

Know what a page should say, not just that something is too short.

A crawler tells you a title is too short. It cannot tell you what the title should say, or too short for what. It finds hundreds of pages where the title matches the H1, and cannot tell you which of the two should change. Content Intelligence reads the page and decides, and shows you the reason.

Content question

How much does payroll software cost for a small team?

Question information last updated: Sep 22, 2026

https://example.com/pricing

Service PageYMYLPricing

Page qualityLow+

A substantial pricing page with clear plan structure and support information. It is YMYL content, and the accuracy gate is triggered: several pricing and tax-filing statements are generalized or insufficiently qualified, so the rating cannot exceed Low. The organized structure supports Low+ rather than Lowest.

Improvement priorities

High

1

Pricing claims are stated without the conditions that change them.

High impact

Per-employee pricing is given as a single figure while the page also describes plan minimums and add-ons. State what the figure includes and what moves it.

YMYL Accuracy

2

Tax filing coverage is asserted without naming its limits.

High impact

Filing support differs by state and by plan. Say which states and which plans, or qualify the claim.

E-E-A-T

Medium

3

The page combines pricing, comparison, onboarding and support in one structure.

Medium impact

Separate the pricing decision from the onboarding explanation, and link the detail rather than carrying it here.

Quality of MC

4

Plan descriptions do not show feature-level differences.

Medium impact

Give a comparison covering included services, add-ons, per-employee charges and limits.

Quality of MC

Low

5

The title-to-H1 relationship is only partially aligned.

Low impact

The title promises pricing for small teams; the H1 names the product. Keep the benefit and add the intent.

Title

Declared factual issues

Misleading

"Every plan includes tax filing in all 50 states."

The statement is overbroad: filing support varies by plan and by state, and the page describes exceptions elsewhere without qualifying this sentence.

proof

The analysis behind pages cited twice as often.

Cited AI Overview impressions

The month before probeo against the month after. Three customers, each against its own before.

2.0x on average, and 1.7x to 2.2x across the three. Each dot is one customer.

Search Console, generative AI appearance.

Content Intelligence is what the rewrites are built from. On average, customers' cited AI Overview impressions doubled the month after they started with probeo.

After one customer rewrote roughly 900 pages on it, the share of their impressions coming from AI Overviews roughly tripled over the next two months.

questions

What people ask.

Our SEO tool already scores our content.

Most content scores measure keyword coverage against the pages that already rank. Content Intelligence reads what the page is for, whether it answers that question, and whether what it says holds up, graded against Google's quality rater guidelines with the reason written next to each grade.

An AI can't judge whether our content is any good.

It does not ask you to take its word. Every grade is made against Google's own quality rater guidelines, and the reason is written next to it, down to the sentence that caused it. You can check every one.

We don't have time to act on another report.

It is not a list of everything. Each page gets a short list of what to improve, ranked by impact, with what to change and where. And if you would rather not do the work, Content Production does it.

$3 a page is a lot for analysis.

It is priced against having people do it. Reviewing every page by hand, properly, costs more than a year of this, and has to be done again as soon as the pages change. This reads them continuously.

We don't want a tool editing our site.

Content Intelligence never changes a page. It reads them and reports. Rewrites are Content Production, and even there publishing stays with you.
