How does probeo decide which questions are worth a page?
An opportunity is a question from your question bank that probeo has judged worth answering, with a recommendation for how. Every question gets a decision and a short reason, so the ones that don’t become pages are accounted for too. Nothing is drafted until you approve an opportunity.
What probeo produces
For each question, one of four outcomes:
- Ready for drafting. The question is a useful content candidate. It comes with an action: a new page when it needs a dedicated answer, or an existing page when probeo has looked at that page and found it the clear place for the answer.
- Consolidated. Another question in the bank needs the same answer, so this one is folded into it.
- Not recommended. The question isn’t useful content for your site.
- Needs review. The evidence is thin, the fit with your site is unclear, or the signals conflict.
Only “ready for drafting” becomes an opportunity you can approve. Each outcome carries a rationale that names the evidence behind it.
How it works
Questions enter the bank with the keywords and monthly search volumes behind them. A language model first turns each one into a single canonical question, splitting off a separate question only when the original asks two distinct things. It files each question under a category in your site’s taxonomy.
A second language model then plans each canonical question. It can look up similar questions and pages (see question similarity) and inspect one plausible existing page before recommending a change to it. Code checks that each decision is consistent, for example that only a ready question carries an action and only a consolidated one names another question.
Search volume is treated as evidence of demand, not as a reason on its own. A keyword variant with volume doesn’t earn a page unless the question is meaningful, answerable and relevant to your site.
What this does not cover
Probeo plans the questions in your bank. It doesn’t go looking for questions you haven’t added, and it doesn’t choose final URLs: placement is decided when the brief is written, in new pages.
These are a language model’s judgments, made with code-checked structure. “Needs review” exists so that an uncertain call is shown as uncertain.
Common questions
Why would a question with search volume not be recommended?
Volume shows demand for a phrasing, not that the question deserves its own answer on your site. A question outside your content scope, or one that adds nothing beyond another question, is marked not recommended or consolidated.
What does “consolidated” mean for the question that was merged?
It names the canonical question that owns the same answer need. The answer is written once, for that question, rather than split across two pages.
Does approving an opportunity publish anything?
No. Approving an opportunity starts a brief, the first of several stages you review in turn.
